Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide phone support to resolve issues for future and current releases of IMIS.
  • •Run vulnerability assessments using STIG/SCAP and add security controls to reduce attack surface for operating systems and network equipment.
  • •Adjust operating systems and COTS software for configuration management and installation; create tools to secure operating systems and applications.
  • •Research and respond to CVEs for software and hardware; document OS patching and vulnerability information.
  • •Design and test network environments, troubleshoot network issues, and support secure routing/protocol setup across lab switches, firewalls, and routers; may serve as team lead and coach others.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in a related IT field (or additional experience in lieu of degree).
  • •8+ years of related experience delivering highly complex systems engineering work.
  • •Experience managing and executing GitLab repository use and software/hardware quality assurance.
  • •Hands-on experience with STIG/SCAP, FIPS 140-2, Common Criteria, JSIG, and Cisco ASA switching/routing/configuration.
  • •Active secret clearance (or previously held secret clearance) and ability to obtain interim clearance, plus Sec+ CE or 8140 equivalent.
