Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform verification testing per specifications and record test results.
  • •Quarantine non-conforming material and notify Production Supervision; organize daily MRB meetings.
  • •Document and control sample retain and retain storage for future reference.
  • •Audit job data and release product from quality inspection; manage hold tickets and specification deviation requests as applicable.
  • •Maintain measurement device calibration system, perform calibrations, and assist with process capability/control studies (SPC).

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalency is required.
  • •Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a quality technician is required.
  • •1-2 years of experience in the packaging industry is a plus.
  • •Knowledge of quality assurance principles and methods, including ability to use handheld measuring devices.
  • •Ability to read drawings and interpret data related to quality criteria; effective communication and quality decision-making.
