Job Summary

Support the Quality Assurance Manager by performing verification testing and ensuring materials meet specifications. Record and quarantine non-conforming products, manage QC records and sample retain storage, and help coordinate daily MRB meetings. Audit job data and release products from quality inspection, maintain calibration systems and perform calibrations (including gage R&R support), and assist with training and documentation reviews. Weekend work required to help prevent nonconforming shipments.

•Quarantine non-conforming material and notify Production Supervision; organize daily MRB meetings.
•Document and control sample retain and retain storage for future reference.
•Audit job data and release product from quality inspection; manage hold tickets and specification deviation requests as applicable.
•Maintain measurement device calibration system, perform calibrations, and assist with process capability/control studies (SPC).

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalency is required.
•Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a quality technician is required.
•1-2 years of experience in the packaging industry is a plus.
•Knowledge of quality assurance principles and methods, including ability to use handheld measuring devices.
•Ability to read drawings and interpret data related to quality criteria; effective communication and quality decision-making.
