Key Responsibilities

  • •Strictly adhere to Metals Recycling Business Health, Safety, and Environmental standards to provide a safe environment for employees, customers, and visitors.
  • •Perform general clean up and yard maintenance, including digging, sweeping, weed/brush maintenance, and blacktop repair.
  • •Remove non-metallic material, metal, and debris at the shredder and non-ferrous picking belts.
  • •Grease and perform general cleanup at the shear and/or shredder.
  • •Report equipment deficiencies or malfunctions and assist with repairs/maintenance as required; provide yard backup as assigned.
