Job Function: Solutions Engineering & Sales Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Partner with the sales team to provide technical leadership and help customers understand how Databricks can solve their business problems.
•Collaborate with the sales team to develop account strategies and execute them to aid customers and prospects using Databricks.
•Consult on Big Data architectures, implement proofs of concept for strategic projects spanning data engineering, data science, ML, and SQL analysis workflows, and validate integrations with cloud services and third-party tools.
•Collaborate with fellow Solutions Architects to support users and share knowledge.
•Become an expert in Databricks open-source projects (Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow) and promote contributions across the developer community.

Key Requirements

•8+ years in data engineering, data science, technical architecture, or similar pre-sales/consulting role
•8+ years of experience with Big Data technologies (e.g., Apache Spark, AI, Data Science, Hadoop, Cassandra)
•Strong consulting / customer-facing experience across various industries
•Coding experience in Python, R, Java, Spark/Scala
•Experience building distributed data systems
