Job Summary

Operate an asphalt distributor machine and related heavy equipment used in road, site, and highway construction. Ensure safe operation for yourself and co-workers, follow OSHA/MSHA procedures, and report issues to the paving foreman or manager. Perform minor servicing and maintenance, complete daily pre- and post-inspections with proper documentation, and assist with training and general labor duties as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Safely and efficiently operate the asphalt distributor and heavy equipment for road, site, and highway paving.
•Follow company policies and OSHA/MSHA safety procedures, maintaining a safe work environment for self and co-workers.

•Perform minor servicing and maintenance, and conduct daily pre- and post-inspections with required documentation.

•Must be willing to travel for a portable paving crew and work nights/weekends and overtime when required.
