Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and further the communication system for laser communication terminals.
  • •Design and specify system requirements and tests; assess the system and its subsystems.
  • •Independently negotiate specifications, interfaces, documentation, and the verification approach with customers and suppliers.
  • •Technically support and select suppliers.
  • •Support the sales team during lead generation and acquisition of orders.

Key Requirements

  • •Completed degree in aerospace engineering, physics, electrical engineering, communications engineering, or a comparable field.
  • •Several years of experience in system engineering and requirements management, including experience leading development projects.
  • •Technical knowledge of current lasercom products.
  • •Interdisciplinary knowledge across electrical engineering, optics, and mechanics.
  • •Native-level written and spoken German and English, enabling specification and verification discussions with customers and suppliers.
