Key Responsibilities

•Install, commission, diagnose, repair, and start up HVAC systems using knowledge of air conditioning theory, pipe fitting, air distribution, controls, and mechanical layouts.
•Plan, analyze, and complete assigned project activities on time, including site surveys, replacements, modifications, and start-up.
•Interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications to mount, hang, fit, and install equipment and systems.
•Prepare for on-site installation by reviewing building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating with other trades.
•Document work and maintain inventory/equipment while ensuring compliance and providing training and technical support at customer sites.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent and typically 2-5 years of experience in commercial HVAC installation; technical school or formal training preferred.
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency with a handheld computer (smartphone, iPad).
•Preferred state contractor licenses (e.g., HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator, Gas Installer).
•Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major/frequent traffic violations (including DUI, hit & run, license suspension, reckless/careless driving).
•Flexibility to work overtime/weekends as required.
