Job Summary

Use statistical data analysis and networking protocol knowledge to diagnose and solve challenging content delivery reliability issues. Join Akamai’s SRE team to analyze large datasets, define KPIs, and measure platform and product performance. Partner with Engineering, Operations, and Product to guide feature/process adoption, identify bottlenecks, and influence technology investment decisions. Build tools and systems that automate analytical workflows to improve efficiency and reliability.

•Lead SRE teams through technical mentorship, feedback, guidelines, and organizing project-specific work.
•Partner with Engineering, Operations, and Product teams to guide adoption of new features and processes.
•Use analytical and statistical insights to identify performance bottlenecks and reliability challenges and propose solutions.
•Define, implement, and mine data feeds from third-party and internal sources to produce insights for decision-making.
•Build software tools and systems to automate analytical tasks and workflows to increase efficiency and reliability.

Key Requirements

•8+ years of experience and a Bachelor's diploma in Computer Science (or equivalent).

•Experience with Internet protocols (DNS/HTTP/TLS/TCP) and strong communication/organizational skills.
