Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure information management practices are integrated into business and technology processes in support of the Information Governance policy.
  • •Identify opportunities for process improvements across information management responsibilities and data spokes, influencing prioritization based on criticality and risk.
  • •Maintain the validity of Information Asset Inventories and champion delivery of information in accordance with governance standards and data management practices.
  • •Lead data lineage collection and stitching and oversee the identification and resolution of complex data quality concerns.
  • •Drive privacy initiatives via classification and analysis of sensitive data, and partner with IT to define and implement complex access management strategies aligned to governance policies.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in a business or science field; or 4 years of relevant education and/or experience.
  • •Use data governance and quality frameworks (metadata, quality, security) to ensure data is trusted, understood, and fit for purpose.
  • •Oversee data lineage collection and stitching, and address complex data quality issues using root-cause analysis.
  • •Define and maintain data quality rules, thresholds, standard metrics, and corrective action plans to mitigate data quality risks.
  • •Support risk identification and compliance by reviewing failures from data quality compliance assessment checks and escalating items that may be a risk to the corporation.
