Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain compliance with regulations and guidelines from OSHA, NFPA, NIOSH, and other agencies
  • •Collaborate with department leadership on job hazard assessments and implementation of health and safety policies and procedures
  • •Monitor employee exposure to physical and chemical hazards and recommend remedial actions
  • •Lead or assist incident investigations, including follow-up, root cause analysis, and corrective action development and closure
  • •Implement safety and health programs and contingency plans; inspect facilities and equipment to identify and correct hazards

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree
  • •5+ years of experience overseeing environmental, health, and safety disciplines
  • •Experience researching and applying best industrial and working practices for effective EHS services
  • •Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations, including interpreting and documenting requirements
