Job Summary

Shape resilient transportation infrastructure by preparing structural designs, drawings, and design packages for bridges and civil structures. Collaborate with engineers, technologists, and project managers to deliver coordinated solutions, supporting preliminary and detailed work. Assist with quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and constructability reviews, incorporating sustainability, safety, and quality. Participate in design reviews, contribute to client deliverables, and support field reviews and construction-phase services as needed.

Key Responsibilities

•Prepare detailed structural designs and drawings for bridges and civil structures in line with applicable codes and standards.
•Support development of preliminary and detailed design packages for transportation infrastructure projects.
•Collaborate with engineers, technologists, and project managers to deliver coordinated design solutions.
•Assist with quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and constructability reviews.
•Support design reviews, project documentation, and field reviews/construction-phase services as required.

Key Requirements

•Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline.
•Experience supporting the design of bridges and/or civil structures in a consulting or engineering environment.
•Proficiency with structural design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar).
•Working knowledge of Canadian bridge and structural design codes and standards.
•Eligibility to work in Canada.
