Key Responsibilities

  • •Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
  • •Set stops or guides to required lengths using scales, rules, or templates.
  • •Observe machine operation to detect product defects or machine malfunction.
  • •Review product for inconsistencies or abnormal appearance and ensure quality requirements are met.
  • •Perform routine machine maintenance, assist other operators with setup, and maintain housekeeping in assigned areas.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in concrete paving equipment manufacturing preferred.
  • •High school diploma/equivalent; or at least 1 month of related trades experience; or an equivalent education/experience combination.
  • •Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instruction, and procedure manuals.
  • •Ability to perform basic arithmetic (whole numbers, fractions, and decimals) in all units of measure.
  • •Experience with Microsoft Suite (including Word and Excel) and maintain a high level of accuracy in assigned work.
