Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform cleaning, monitoring, and securing operations to assist with vacuum atomization furnace setup.
  • •Perform basic hoist and rigging operations and operate powered industrial vehicles (PIVs).
  • •Assist with removal/replacement of furnace lid and coils; clean furnace chamber and “O” ring seal.
  • •As directed, attach/detach gas, electric, and water lines to the furnace lid and tank.
  • •Under supervision of the team lead, support atomization chamber disassembly/reassembly during alloy changes and assist with minor furnace repairs.
