Key Responsibilities

  • •Work on major UK water frameworks and programmes, supporting the delivery of AMP8 transformation.
  • •Collaborate across disciplines across the full project lifecycle, from feasibility and design to delivery and asset management.
  • •Apply expertise in relevant engineering areas (e.g., design management, lead design engineering, hydraulic & network modelling, or flood & coastal modelling).
  • •Contribute to projects that improve communities and protect the environment, including drainage and wastewater management initiatives.
  • •Participate in onboarding as a condition of employment, including an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location.

Key Requirements

  • •Knowledge and experience of the water sector.
  • •A degree or equivalent in a related engineering subject (e.g., civil, electrical, mechanical).
  • •Relevant experience in a similar role for a water company, consultancy, or contractors.
  • •Expertise in areas such as civil engineering, structural engineering, or mechanical & electrical engineering.
  • •Experience in hydraulic & network modelling or flood & coastal modelling is a plus.
