Key Responsibilities

  • •Configure Temenos payment products, processing rules, workflows, orchestration, routing, fees/charges, cut-off times, priorities, limits, exception handling, and settlement parameters.
  • •Translate business and operational requirements into functional designs, configuration workbooks, parameter specifications, and implementation-ready solutions aligned to target architecture and Temenos standards.
  • •Perform fit-gap and impact analyses, recommending configuration-first solutions and identifying where extensions or integration changes are needed.
  • •Support end-to-end incoming and outgoing payment flows across domestic, SEPA, cross-border, high-value, batch, and instant scenarios, including returns, rejects, recalls, investigations, and repair processes.
  • •Coordinate testing and release activities, including defining test scenarios/acceptance criteria, supporting integration/UAT/regression and end-to-end validation, analyzing defects, and participating in migration, cutover, go-live readiness, and hypercare runbooks.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 7 years of experience in banking technology, core banking, or payments transformation, with hands-on configuration and implementation responsibilities.
  • •At least 4 years of practical experience with Temenos, ideally including Temenos Transact and Temenos Payments/Payments Hub, across at least two implementation, upgrade, or major transformation programmes.
  • •Strong functional knowledge of payment processing across the full lifecycle, including experience in retail, corporate, or private-banking environments.
  • •Proven ability to configure and troubleshoot Temenos payment products, parameters, workflows, routing logic, fees, limits, cut-offs, exception handling, and settlement rules.
  • •Professional fluency in English (C1 level or equivalent), with German C1 strongly preferred for client-facing work in Switzerland.
