Key Responsibilities

  • •Support international sales activities as a strategic, high-level corporate technical resource for pre-sales engagements and key opportunities.
  • •Serve as a subject-matter expert for pre-sales design reviews, providing technical guidance and authoritative consulting to Field Systems Engineers.
  • •Collaborate with SE peers to lead secure IP network design and architecture using Fortinet’s product line in competitive environments.
  • •Provide training to System Engineers at events worldwide, mentor SE specialists within virtual teams, and act as Virtual Team Leader from a technical perspective.
  • •Write white papers/tech notes and provide status reports while coordinating with Product Management and Engineering to identify and qualify features critical to Fortinet’s success.
Travel: Extensive travel

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive, proven experience designing, building, and supporting advanced security solutions in a customer-facing role.
  • •Strong network and software security expertise with hands-on experience using security vendor products.
  • •Deep understanding of information security technologies and associated protocols/standards (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus, VPN).
  • •Ability to understand customer environments and articulate best technical solutions for specific scenarios.
  • •CISSP and/or CISM certification plus vendor-specific certifications.
