Job Summary

Drive Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) leadership across a regional portfolio by partnering with senior leaders, project teams, and specialists. Implement and continuously improve HSE programs, systems, and initiatives, provide trusted advice and coaching, lead incident and injury/emergency management activities, and run assurance, audits, and inspections. Build HSE capability through mentoring and stakeholder engagement while embedding health, safety, and environmental considerations into day-to-day decisions.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide expert HSE advice and coaching to leaders, managers, and project teams to strengthen safety culture.
•Drive implementation of critical controls and HSE improvement initiatives by influencing operational and strategic decisions.
•Lead investigations and response activities for incidents, observations, and system events; support emergency preparedness planning and response.
•Oversee injury management and return-to-work processes with key stakeholders.
•Lead field inspections, assurance activities, audits, and analyze HSE performance data to identify trends and improve the HSE management system.

Key Requirements

•Tertiary qualification in Health, Safety, Environment or a related discipline.
•Significant HSE leadership experience in engineering, construction, infrastructure, resources, industrial, or similarly complex risk environments.
•Strong knowledge of contemporary HSE management systems, assurance frameworks, and risk management principles.
•Experience leading investigations, audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives.
•Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, influencing, and the ability to coach leaders to build capability.
