Job Summary

Perform financial analysis and underwriting for the bank’s largest and most complex loan relationships by region or industry. Build and review financial spreads and cash-flow/project analysis in nCino, author credit memos and annual reviews, and support loan committee discussions. Guide and mentor Credit Analysts/Underwriters, oversee work product quality and accuracy, and act as backup to leadership as needed while completing required BSA/AML compliance training.

Key Responsibilities

•Generate and/or oversee financial spreads and trend analysis using financial statements in nCino.
•Create spreadsheets for borrower personal, global, and real estate cash-flow/project analysis on an accurate and timely basis.
•Prepare credit memos and annual reviews following department procedures.
•Attend loan committee meetings when directed by management.
•Mentor Analyst I/II and oversee work product accuracy and timeliness; act as backup to regional leadership as needed.

Key Requirements

•Equivalent of a four-year college degree plus 7 years related experience/training, and 4 years related management experience (or equivalent combination).
•Broad knowledge of accounting, marketing, business administration, and finance to support underwriting and risk assessment.
•Ability to generate and review financial spreads and cash-flow/project analysis for borrower underwriting using financial statements.
•Strong communication skills to write reports and present/respond to complex inquiries with managers, clients, customers, and regulators.
•Supervisory capability to mentor and oversee Credit Analysts and Underwriters, ensuring accurate, timely work product.
