Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate and manage field investigations and technical reporting.
  • •Participate in fieldwork and lead by example in collecting environmental data.
  • •Prepare technical reports and other project deliverables to a high standard.
  • •Input to proposals and bids for large and small projects.
  • •Support project delivery by contributing to a high performing team and providing guidance to early professional and graduate colleagues.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or post graduate degree in environmental science, geology, or related earth science subjects.
  • •Ideally 5+ years in contaminated land management, environmental site assessments (PSI/DSI), and/or remediation projects.
  • •High competency field skills including sampling and monitoring of soil, groundwater, surface water, and vapours/gas.
  • •Ability to plan and prepare technical deliverables to a high standard.
  • •Willingness to travel across New Zealand and experience using software programmes such as Excel, ideally Arc-GIS and Pro-UCL.
