Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the Nx-based monorepo architecture and ongoing health, including project graph, dependency boundaries, language toolchains, and code generation patterns.
  • •Build CI/CD systems for correctness, reproducibility, and speed, including pipeline architecture, caching, parallelism, secret flow, and release engineering for regulated and air-gapped deployments.
  • •Design developer tooling and workflows, including internal CLIs, scaffolding, local dev stacks (Tilt, Docker, Kubernetes), and code-quality infrastructure (lint, typecheck, format, pre-commit).
  • •Treat build, CI, and dev infrastructure as production systems with real SLOs, observability, and on-call rigor.
  • •Identify developer friction, instrument it, and ship measured improvements with clear before/after impact, partnering across engineering teams to drive adoption.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years building developer-facing infrastructure such as monorepo platforms, build systems, CI/CD, or internal tooling.
  • •Hands-on depth with a modern monorepo tool (Nx, Bazel, Pants, Buck, or Turborepo) and willingness to go deeper.
  • •Fluency with CI/CD at scale (e.g., GitHub Actions, Buildkite, CircleCI) including matrix design, caching, secret flow, and parallelism.
  • •Fluency in at least two of: Go, Python, TypeScript, Rust, Bash.
  • •Experience shipping and operating developer-facing systems with real uptime, observability, and incident response.
