Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor system health, performance metrics, and alerts to respond to incidents promptly and restore services in a timely manner.
  • •Implement incident response processes and lead incident response efforts, coordinating cross-functionally to resolve system issues and minimize downtime.
  • •Design, develop, and maintain automation tools, scripts, and processes for streamlined system management, deployments, and configuration changes.
  • •Apply infrastructure-as-code principles and enforce configuration standards across environments, ensuring consistency and repeatability.
  • •Perform post-incident analysis to identify root causes, implement preventive measures, and continuously improve reliability, availability, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Key Requirements

  • •Seasoned hands-on experience in a Site Reliability Engineering role (or related roles) designing and maintaining highly available, scalable systems.
  • •Strong expertise in Linux/Unix systems, networking, and system administration.
  • •Proficiency in scripting/programming for automation tools and frameworks, including Python, Go, Java, or Ruby (and Bash/PowerShell as beneficial).
  • •Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), infrastructure-as-code, and containerization (Terraform/CloudFormation, Docker/Kubernetes).
  • •Experience with incident management, troubleshooting, and conducting post-incident reviews, with a focus on root cause analysis and preventive measures.
