Key Responsibilities

  • •Set up and run punch press, power shear, hydraulic/mechanical power break, EHRT machine, and other fabrication equipment.
  • •Fabricate sheet-metal parts by laying out work from blueprints/sketches/work orders and cutting/shaping into three-dimensional forms.
  • •Prepare metal parts, fixtures, and equipment for fabrication and maintain sheet metal equipment.
  • •Operate light metalworking machines (shears, brakes, punches, drill presses) to cut, bend, drill, shape, or straighten sheet metal.
  • •Inspect product quality and installation to ensure conformance to specifications and handle work order/dispatch documentation.
