Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the team to deliver initiatives from concept and planning through rollout, partnering with engineers and stakeholders.
  • •Own developer productivity and internal developer experience outcomes, including self-serve tooling and best practices.
  • •Listen across the organization, synthesize feedback, build buy-in, and maintain a clear, well-argued roadmap for sustainable impact.
  • •Coordinate across team boundaries (including SRE, Security, Principal Engineers, and leadership) and influence without relying on authority.
  • •Manage and coach engineers while staying hands-on—contributing to code and reviews and overseeing technical decisions and shared libraries/tools.

Key Requirements

  • •Significant experience as a senior engineer on complex, large-scale, cloud-based systems (Go is a plus), including time on Platform or Internal Developer Experience teams.
  • •Management experience with several direct reports (2+ years) at at least two places, with a genuine passion for developing people.
  • •Experience building products for internal stakeholders and developers.
  • •Strong ability to build trust and alignment by gathering/synthesizing feedback and communicating clear rationale before executing.
  • •Ability to thrive in ambiguity—shaping loosely-defined problems into a sequenced path while moving at pace.
