Job Summary

Maintain and repair electrical and mechanical plant equipment in the production area, including troubleshooting electrical/electronic malfunctions and completing corrective maintenance. Install wiring and conduit for new machines, diagnose and test faulty machinery, replace or repair components, and calibrate equipment to manufacturer specifications. Read blueprints and wiring diagrams, prepare maintenance reports as directed, maintain tool and electrical part stock, and weld/fabricate as needed.

•Read blueprints/wiring diagrams and prepare maintenance reports for management as directed.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma/equivalent or completion of technical school, with equivalent training, experience, and education.
•At least 2 years of industrial experience in electrical or mechanical support functions.
•Knowledgeable of OSHA safety requirements related to electrical and mechanical operations.
•Able to read and understand electrical schematics and blueprints.
•Full knowledge of three phase 480 volt equipment, plus working knowledge of three phase motors, programmable controls, circuits, computer interfaces, and the National Electrical Code.
