Job Summary

Support international road design and infrastructure projects with a focus on the UK & Ireland and US markets. You’ll lead traffic engineering and transport planning, perform modelling delivery and verification, and contribute to feasibility studies, impact assessments, and mobility planning. Design and deliver traffic signal schemes, provide technical leadership and quality oversight, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while producing technical reports and documentation for clients and stakeholders.

•Accountable for traffic engineering and transport planning, including modelling delivery and verification across transport projects.
•Work on Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and related projects such as Traffic Engineering & Operations (TEO) and Traffic Management Center (TMC).
•Conduct feasibility studies, impact assessments, and mobility planning, and perform transport and traffic analysis to support road design.
•Design and deliver traffic signal schemes and provide technical leadership, quality oversight, and mentoring to teams.
•Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations and coordinate with global teams in project meetings across time zones.

•Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Transport Systems Engineering.
•8+ years of relevant experience in transport planning/modelling.
•Experience with transportation planning studies, traffic analysis/modelling, and design of transportation and traffic infrastructure.
•Strong proficiency with transport planning software including LinSIG, SATURN, Synchro, Sidra, Junctions, TRICS, and ArcGIS.
•Familiarity with US or UK & Ireland transportation planning standards (e.g., FHWA, AASHTO, DFT/Highways England Standards).
