Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide design and coordination for Structured Cabling systems (telecom cabling, spaces and pathway infrastructure) across multiple project verticals.
  • •Lead a team of consultants to deliver projects from inception to completion with high quality work and on-budget delivery.
  • •Create design narratives and construction documents (drawings and CSI specifications) and coordinate with clients and design team members.
  • •Review submittals and RFIs using industry platforms (Procore, Newforma, ACC) and conduct site surveys with field reports.
  • •Mentor junior staff, develop client relationships, and market capabilities across all business lines.

Key Requirements

  • •A four-year degree (B.S. in engineering preferred) or equivalent combination of technical degree and related work experience designing technology systems for buildings.
  • •Seven plus years of experience actively designing complex structured cabling systems for the AEC consulting and engineering industry.
  • •RCDD certification preferred but not required.
  • •Deep knowledge of structured cabling design principles and coordination with other trades; familiarity with Revit; proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • •Knowledge of NEC, IBC, NFPA, BICSI, EIA/TIA standards and ability to market services, win work, and lead a team of consultants.
