Key Responsibilities

•Provide design and coordination for Structured Cabling systems (telecom cabling, spaces and pathway infrastructure) across multiple project verticals.
•Lead a team of consultants to deliver projects from inception to completion with high quality work and on-budget delivery.
•Create design narratives and construction documents (drawings and CSI specifications) and coordinate with clients and design team members.
•Review submittals and RFIs using industry platforms (Procore, Newforma, ACC) and conduct site surveys with field reports.
•Mentor junior staff, develop client relationships, and market capabilities across all business lines.

Key Requirements

•A four-year degree (B.S. in engineering preferred) or equivalent combination of technical degree and related work experience designing technology systems for buildings.
•Seven plus years of experience actively designing complex structured cabling systems for the AEC consulting and engineering industry.
•RCDD certification preferred but not required.
•Deep knowledge of structured cabling design principles and coordination with other trades; familiarity with Revit; proficient in Microsoft Office.
•Knowledge of NEC, IBC, NFPA, BICSI, EIA/TIA standards and ability to market services, win work, and lead a team of consultants.
