Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform boots-on-the-ground safety oversight by identifying and correcting workplace hazards and unsafe conditions.
  • •Monitor employee exposure to job and chemical hazards as regulated by OSHA permissible exposure limits.
  • •Assist in implementing and complying with site-specific safety policies, including creating job hazard analysis and PPE assessments.
  • •Manage environmental compliance tasks including RCRA hazardous waste handling, storage, disposal, labeling, 90-day logs, and related inspections.
  • •Support spill response/prevention and environmental activities such as stormwater inspections, SPCC implementation, and environmental compliance/due diligence audits.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • •2+ years of experience implementing and overseeing an environmental, health and safety program.
  • •Experience managing hazardous waste storage.
  • •Experience performing boots-on-the-ground safety oversight.
  • •Experience implementing or developing health and safety plans and policies.
