Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage end-to-end payroll cycles (daily, weekly, monthly, annual, and ad-hoc), with primary focus on US payrolls to meet strict deadlines.
  • •Compile, double-check, and submit accurate payroll inputs to third-party providers, ensuring outputs balance with source inputs.
  • •Generate and review payroll outputs including pre- and post-payroll journals, General Ledger (GL) files, and custom ad-hoc reports.
  • •Maintain historical payroll files and audit trails; partner with payroll vendors and tax advisors to improve accuracy and efficiencies.
  • •Resolve first- and second-line payroll inquiries, ensure compliance with federal/state/local tax laws, and support internal audit preparations and regulatory responses.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 77,000 - 105,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •3+ years of hands-on experience using Workday Payroll, including running payroll cycles, validating inputs, troubleshooting, and supporting audits and implementations/upgrades.
  • •3+ years of direct, end-to-end in-house payroll experience (inputs, validations, corrections, and reconciliations) in a high-growth product-led/technology company.
  • •Proven experience processing complex US multi-state payrolls with strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
  • •Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (pivot tables, data validation, formulas, charts, and large data sets) and ability to quickly learn new payroll software.
  • •Ability to navigate ambiguity and independently develop solutions while priorities shift.
