Job Summary

Join the maintenance team to keep the plant running safely and efficiently. You’ll maintain and troubleshoot equipment such as pumps, motors, conveyors, and compressors, handle facility upkeep (HVAC, plumbing, lighting, general maintenance), and follow safety protocols including LOCKOUT/TAGOUT and GMPs. The role includes compliance checks with OSHA/EPA standards, quick response to emergencies, collaboration with production teams, and support for equipment installations and special projects.

Key Responsibilities

•Maintain key machinery and systems such as pumps, motors, conveyors, and compressors, including regular checks and fast breakdown repairs to minimize downtime.
•Maintain a clean and safe facility, including HVAC, plumbing, lighting, painting, cleaning, and grounds maintenance such as mowing and snow removal.
•Follow safety protocols and regulations, including LOCKOUT/TAGOUT and GMPs, and ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA standards while responding to emergencies.
•Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to solve problems, participate in training, and communicate across departments to support smooth operations.
•Assist with installing new equipment and take on special projects and tool/parts organization to support day-to-day operations and transport needs.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 26.52 - 32.42 hourly

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED and 1+ years of related experience/training in industrial mechanical maintenance or food manufacturing maintenance, or 4 years direct experience.
•Vocational/technical diploma or associate degree from a technical maintenance or vocational school (preferred).
•Ability to function effectively in a team environment and interact with all levels of personnel and outside contractors.
•Ability to operate a forklift, genie lift, scissor lift, or other powered industrial trucks (PIT).
•Ability to read and execute work orders, write daily reports, and translate equipment manuals.
