Job Summary

Maintain and repair industrial equipment and production lines to keep operations running safely and efficiently. Complete assigned daily preventive maintenance, diagnose malfunctions by listening for unusual equipment sounds, and dismantle/install parts as needed. Perform inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and repairs, while always following safety rules (LOCKOUT/TAGOUT) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Support production and quality teams and follow ISO 14001 procedures.

Key Responsibilities

•Ensure assigned daily preventive maintenance (PMs) are completed.
•Ensure production lines are in good mechanical order.
•Set up and visually inspect/test machinery and equipment.
•Diagnose malfunctions, discuss equipment operation variations with supervisors/others, and repair as needed.
•Dismantle defective machines/equipment, install new or repaired parts, clean and lubricate components, and perform required repairs while following GMPs and safety practices.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED with 1+ years of related experience/training in industrial mechanical maintenance or food manufacturing; or 4 years’ direct experience in the same environment.
•Vocational/technical diploma or associate degree in technical maintenance or vocational school (preferred).
•Ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact productively with personnel and outside contractors.
•Ability to operate a forklift, genie lift, scissor lift, or other powered industrial trucks (PIT).
•Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions and read/execute work orders, write daily reports, and translate equipment manuals.
