Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead end-to-end design of high-complexity PCBs (30+ layers), including HDI, fine pitch pin fields, and high-density I/O configurations.
  • •Act as the technical lead to resolve complex PCB design challenges by coordinating Signal Integrity, mechanical (MCAD), and manufacturing teams.
  • •Adopt new ECAD methodologies and automation tools (e.g., csh, Allegro scripts) to improve productivity and optimize tool performance.
  • •Mentor junior engineers and run training sessions on industry-standard ECAD processes and best practices.
  • •Ensure first-pass success and compliance across SI, EMC, Safety, and DFM standards, partnering with contract manufacturers and fabrication vendors for manufacturability feedback.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with 5+ years of professional experience in advanced PCB design.
  • •Or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with 8+ years of professional experience in advanced PCB design.
  • •Demonstrated ability to design high-complexity PCBs (30+ layers) using HDI and fine-pitch components.
  • •Hands-on ECAD expertise with Cadence Allegro and automation scripting (csh, Allegro scripts) to streamline workflows.
  • •Strong knowledge of PCB stack-up, fabrication/assembly processes, and precision Gerber generation, with working knowledge of SI, EMC, Safety, and DFM standards.
