Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and improve services for the AML platform, focusing on high reliability and scalability for real-time sanctions screening and transaction monitoring.
  • •Design complex event-driven services and components using Kafka/SNS/SQS and the RFC process.
  • •Mentor less experienced team members and serve as a technical escalation point for critical compliance issues.
  • •Lead product initiatives from discovery to delivery with product and compliance teams to deliver robust, audit-ready solutions.
  • •Own the products you build end-to-end, including ongoing maintenance in a regulated, high-availability environment.

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive experience developing complex software systems for high-volume, low-latency environments, mainly with Python and strong OOP fundamentals.
  • •Design and manage services, including establishing standard APIs, implementing observability (logging, metrics, alerting), and integrating external systems.
  • •Experience with event-driven architectures and Kafka.
  • •Quality-first approach with testable, well-covered code (unit and integration tests), using CI/CD (Jenkins/GHA) and Terraform for deployment.
  • •Ability to design for system resilience, including fault-tolerant architectures, graceful degradation, and recovery patterns; clear English communication.
