Key Responsibilities

  • •Draft, review, redline, negotiate, and manage complex commercial agreements across areas like sales, distribution, vendor, marketing, licensing, and partnerships.
  • •Serve as trusted advisor to EU Commercial leadership, providing strategic legal guidance aligned with regional and global business objectives.
  • •Independently assess legal and business risks in non-routine situations and recommend practical, scalable solutions.
  • •Provide legal support across domains including employment, regulatory compliance, marketing/advertising, consumer protection, and data privacy (GDPR).
  • •Develop and continuously improve regional legal policies, templates, and contracting frameworks; manage outside counsel across EU jurisdictions.
Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

  • •Fully qualified to practice law in at least one EU jurisdiction (Netherlands or UK preferred) with ability to advise across multiple jurisdictions.
  • •10+ years of post-qualification legal experience, with significant focus on commercial contracting and in-house advisory work.
  • •Proven deep expertise in commercial law and contracting, with the ability to handle complex, strategic matters independently.
  • •Strong knowledge of EU regulatory frameworks, including GDPR and consumer/commercial regulations.
  • •Fluency in English required; ability to work in the Netherlands at the time of application, and able to work in the Amsterdam office on a hybrid schedule.
