Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead, manage, and review mechanical design work for wastewater and water treatment infrastructure projects.
  • •Carry out site surveys and coordinate with clients, contractors, and suppliers to support design activities.
  • •Deliver pumping station design including headloss calculations, pumping system analysis, and pump selection.
  • •Produce and manage design outputs such as technical specifications, Wimes datasheets, valve and equipment schedules, lifting strategies, and P&IDs.
  • •Support all design stages and bid proposal preparation, delegate tasks, and mentor junior staff while verifying client deliverables.

Key Requirements

  • •Extensive design experience managing technical delivery of large-scale water engineering projects with multidisciplinary knowledge.
  • •BEng or MEng in a related engineering field with experience in water and wastewater treatment.
  • •Chartered Member of a relevant Professional Institution.
  • •Proven experience leading teams through mentoring and line management, including managing projects and delegating tasks.
  • •Strong collaboration and coordination skills across teams, clients, and stakeholders.
