Key Responsibilities

  • •Guide RM/CSE/RO teams in identifying and documenting information needed to meet KYC due diligence policies and processes.
  • •Execute and review negative media alerts, and perform sanction & PEP screening.
  • •Check and identify discrepancies between customer documentation and system profiles.
  • •Review and validate the quality of KYC and due diligence information at onboarding and periodic reviews in line with HSBC policies.
  • •Plan and prioritize work to meet business needs, completing assigned tasks to a high-quality standard.

Key Requirements

  • •Graduation or post-graduation from a recognized university with 2–5 years of experience.
  • •Good understanding of operational risk and controls, ideally from front line and/or risk roles.
  • •Good understanding of the regulatory environment and experience in private banking is an advantage.
  • •Strong execution and solid analytical skills with ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • •Good command of written and spoken Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese) and English.
