Job Summary

Own production materials planning and production control for high-mix, low-volume hardware development and production programs. Coordinate demand requirements, inventory planning, kitting, and rough-cut capacity, and use MRP tools to analyze supply/demand and Bill of Materials needs. Generate purchase requisitions and orders, manage inventory and scheduling inputs, and oversee disposition of materials impacted by Engineering Change Notices to support contract schedules.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage material planning and production control functions to support high-mix, low-volume production and development programs.
•Execute program requirements to meet customer needs and deliver product according to the contract schedule.
•Oversee the supply chain process from program start through contract closure.
•Assess supply resources and prioritize demand requirements, including inventory levels, kitting, production, material, and rough-cut capacity planning.
•Analyze purchase material supply/demand positions using MRP tools and control disposition of subassemblies/materials impacted by Engineering Change Notices.

Salary: USD 86,800 - 165,200 annually

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree and minimum 3 years of experience.
•Material analysis experience using an MRP system or similar systems.
•Experience with SAP and PRISM and/or related tools.
•Ability to plan inventory and kitting requirements based on dependent and independent Bill of Materials (BOM) needs.
•Experience with production/build scheduling concepts such as capacity planning and inventory position analysis.
