Job Summary

Operate equipment and perform general labor and light mobile equipment tasks to support and maintain plant operations at the Vandergrift Operations. Work with a team across facilities to produce plate products, including operating cranes via remote radio control or overhead cab. Assist and support routine maintenance activities, using computer interfaces for some tasks. The role requires safe teamwork and readiness for shifts, weekends, and overtime in an industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate both small and large mobile equipment to support plant operations.
•Operate cranes using a remote radio control box or in an overhead cab.

•Use computer interfaces as needed for routine tasks in the facilities.

Key Requirements

•1 year of experience in a transferrable industry with transferrable skills.
•Basic reading, math, and measurement comprehension; ability to read instructions, do basic math, and perform simple measurements.
•High School Diploma or equivalent, and/or Vo-Tech Certificate or an associate degree in electrical, mechanical, or related curriculum.
•Ability and willingness to operate and/or maintain a variety of operating units.
•Reading, math, and problem-solving skills with electrical or mechanical aptitude.
