Job Summary

Diagnose, repair, and maintain customer vehicles in a high-production mechanic shop. Perform advanced troubleshooting across A/C and refrigeration, brakes, electrical charging, clutch, cooling, steering and alignment, suspension/chassis, tires and wheels, driveline/transmission, engines, fuel systems, and preventative maintenance. Use OEM tests, wiring diagrams/schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify root causes and complete complex repairs while supporting shop operations, documentation, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform assigned diagnostic repair and maintenance on customer vehicles and troubleshoot complex issues across mechanical and electrical systems.
•Diagnose and repair A/C, heater, and refrigeration systems using OEM tests and electrical schematics.
•Service braking systems, including failure analysis and use of an on-car brake lathe.
•Complete diagnostics and repairs for charging, clutch, cooling, starting/cranking, lighting, and electrical accessories.
•Perform preventative maintenance, steering and alignment, suspension/chassis repairs, tire and wheel service (including TPMS), and track/record vehicle information.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of experience in the automotive repair field.
•Provide master-level vehicle diagnostics and perform major/technically difficult repairs, overhauls, and rebuilds in a timely manner.
•Hold required certifications (A-1 through A-8) including Brake, Tire & Wheel, A/C battery charge and check, and Warranty/Laser Alignment.
•Own tools and have computer skills to support diagnostic/service work.
•Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license and be able to safely drive a variety of vehicles.
