Job Summary

Lead end-to-end, high-stakes Buyer Experience design programs as a senior individual contributor on Etsy’s Design Operations team. Shape how the org plans, prioritizes, and reviews work across desktop, mobile web, and native app, and act as a strategic partner to Design leadership. Build new operational models, unify multiple buyer-experience teams with shared rituals and reporting, drive adoption of process shifts, and steward the tool and vendor stack.

Key Responsibilities

•Own the highest-complexity, cross-functional, long-term Buyer Experience programs spanning multiple squads.
•Propose and drive new ops-led initiatives end-to-end, including where the path forward is undefined.
•Partner with Design Operations leadership to define the operational model for planning, prioritization, and review across platforms.
•Unify multiple buyer-experience teams through shared rituals, communication cadences, and planning frameworks.
•Build visibility through dashboards, leadership summaries, and team communications, and steward the tool and vendor strategy.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 200,000 - 260,000

Key Requirements

•10+ years in program management, design operations, or a related field, with a significant portion leading operations for a large design or product organization.
•Track record of independently identifying and building new operational programs in genuinely novel problem spaces.
•Experience operating at a multi-team or org-wide scope and influencing VP and senior director-level stakeholders without formal authority.
•Deep familiarity with consumer product development, ideally across multi-platform experiences (web and native app) or two-sided marketplace products.
•Fluency with Figma, Jira, Notion, Claude, and Google Workspace, plus strong communication and storytelling skills.
