Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage and resolve complex end-to-end employee exits across international jurisdictions, ensuring a superior offboarding experience.
  • •Provide trusted guidance on termination, resignation, transfer procedures, employment contracts, and redundancy processes while ensuring legal compliance and best practices.
  • •Independently lead and facilitate meetings (e.g., workforce reduction consultations, administrative hearings, separations/settlements negotiations) and negotiate positive outcomes with multiple stakeholders.
  • •Draft, tailor, and administer termination and supplementary documents, maintaining strict privacy and confidentiality while ensuring accurate employee records.
  • •Process offboarding in Remote’s internal HRIS platform and act as a subject-matter expert for first-level employee relations, driving process improvements through automation and AI.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience as an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner with generalist HR competencies across the employee lifecycle.
  • •Proven ability to independently manage voluntary and involuntary exits (terminations) with legal compliance across jurisdictions.
  • •Understanding of employee relations principles, progressive discipline, and workplace investigation fundamentals.
  • •Advanced communication, influencing, conflict management, and negotiation skills to lead difficult conversations with strict confidentiality.
  • •Business-level (advanced) written and spoken English; demonstrated problem-solving and tech-savviness, including HRIS collaboration and automation/AI fluency.
