Key Responsibilities

  • •Assess, diagnose, and manage pediatric patients presenting to the Emergency Department with acute and emergency conditions.
  • •Perform rapid triage, clinical assessment, stabilization, and initiate appropriate emergency treatment.
  • •Manage pediatric emergencies including respiratory distress, sepsis, shock, seizures, trauma, poisoning, dehydration, and acute infections.
  • •Perform and interpret investigations such as laboratory tests, imaging, ECG, and other diagnostic procedures.
  • •Provide emergency interventions and pediatric advanced life support when required, coordinate timely admission/transfer/referral, and prescribe treatment plans per guidelines and protocols.
