Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver safe, fun, and progressive swimming lessons in line with the Swim England learn to swim framework.
  • •Support swimmers' confidence building and progression, including those who move toward competitive swimming.
  • •Provide a customer-focused experience for swimmers and families across all ages and backgrounds.
  • •Maintain safe practice by meeting safeguarding requirements associated with the role (including completing DBS check requirements).
  • •Participate in training and development through the Aquatic Training Academy and specialist CPDs.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 18.93 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Hold either a STA Award/Certificate in Teaching Swimming or Swim England (formerly ASA) Level 2.
  • •Provide excellent customer service and be comfortable dealing with people of all ages and backgrounds.
  • •Deliver safe, fun, progressive swimming lessons following the Swim England learn to swim framework.
  • •Have (or be able to obtain) a DBS check for this role.
  • •RLSS UK NPLQ, RLSS UK NRASTC, or STA Safety Award for Teachers is advantageous (training may be provided).
