Key Responsibilities

  • •Architect, design, layout, measure and productize ultra-deep sub-micron CMOS products
  • •Lead a large block on a complex chip, mentor team members and track deliverables, participate in peer review of complex IC designs
  • •Collaborate with packaging and hardware design team to ensure signal and power integrity specifications are met
  • •Develop high-speed AMS circuits and best-in-class products that push boundaries
  • •Interact with other groups (digital/DSP design, system design, package design, module design) to optimize integration

Key Requirements

  • •BSEE with 12+ years of experience or equivalent, or MS with 8+ years, or PhD with 5+ years, or equivalent
  • •Design, simulation and measurement of high-speed ICs in areas such as High Speed Serial Links, serializers/deserializers, data converters, voltage regulators, output drivers, PLLs, clock transmission/propagation, Opamps, PGAs, and equalization
  • •Experience with electrical transceiver applications including backplane and cable communications
  • •Experience with FinFET technology
  • •Floorplanning and passive component design (inductors, transformers, transmission-lines)
  • •Experience with Cadence (Virtuoso), Spectre/APS/SpectreX, Matlab, EMX; mixed-signal AMS simulations
  • •Experience designing for manufacturability and ESD practices
