Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead PR and media relations in Indian business, tech, and mainstream media to build brand reputation.
  • •Develop tech content in partnership with Brand and Talent Marketing teams to position Capital One as a tech leader and employer of choice.
  • •Plan and execute tech conferences, hackathons, and industry events/sponsorships end-to-end, including activation in developer communities.
  • •Manage PR and event agencies; draft and approve press releases and bylines; prepare senior leaders for media interviews, keynotes, and panel discussions.
  • •Identify reputational risks early, run crisis communications as needed, and ensure external messaging meets global brand and legal standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, English, or Journalism.
  • •At least 10 years of experience across PR, internal communications, and talent branding in a Global Capability Center, tech company, PR agency (tech client experience), or global financial services firm.
  • •Master media relations and executive communications, including thought leadership and communications counsel for senior leaders.
  • •Advanced knowledge of digital marketing channels and techniques, with hands-on experience with content formats like v-logs, blogs, events, and podcasts.
  • •Experience managing budgets, vendors, and global communications compliance standards, with strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.
