Lead electrical delivery for data centre projects across feasibility through handover, owning design quality and mentoring technical teams. Key Responsibilities

•Own electrical design across feasibility, concept, scheme, and detailed design, including procurement support through construction, commissioning, and handover.
•Define and validate power architectures, including utility intake, MV/LV distribution, UPS topologies, generators, switchgear, PDUs, STS, busway, earthing, and lighting.
•Lead power systems studies and protection design (load flow, short circuit, protection coordination, arc-flash, harmonic analysis) using ETAP/SKM.
•Integrate monitoring and controls (BMS/EPMS/SCADA), metering strategies, and resilience features aligned to availability objectives (e.g., Tier II–IV).
•Embed decarbonization and energy efficiency measures and assure compliance with relevant standards and codes (IEC/BS/EN and/or NEC/NFPA), coordinating multi-disciplinary interfaces.

Key Requirements

•Experience delivering electrical design across data centres and mission critical environments, from feasibility and concept through detailed design, construction, commissioning, and handover.
•Proven ability leading data centre electrical project workstreams in the UK and preferably across EMEA, including fast-track and design-build environments.
•Strong client-facing and work-winning experience with demonstrated commercial acumen, including managing project financials.
•Demonstrable team leadership and development capability.
•Detailed knowledge of how electrical engineering interfaces with mechanical design and other disciplines for fully integrated data centre projects.
