Partner cross-functionally to support multi-entity reporting standardization, SAP cost accounting enhancements, and month-end close, while mentoring a small team and occasionally traveling to Germany.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead orders, backlog, sales reporting/forecasting, and cost accounting for valves manufacturing and distribution, ensuring accurate commercial/top-line analytics.
•Maintain and enhance SAP product costing models and methodologies (e.g., BOMs, routings, labor standards, overhead rates and allocations).
•Analyze manufacturing variances and operational costs, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for cost optimization.
•Oversee month-end close activities for top-line reporting, trade/interco price, NMI, factory cost accounting, and inventory/WIP reconciliations and journal entries.
•Guide and mentor 2–3 team members while supporting budgeting, forecasting, and multi-year planning processes and acting as an SAP cost accounting SME.

Key Requirements

•Chartered Accountant or Cost Accounting Professional with minimum 15 years of work experience in a manufacturing setup.
•Hands-on SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling (FICO) experience.
•Proven experience across multiple legal entities and intercompany structures.
•Strong knowledge of pricing, NMI, standard costing, variance analysis, inventory accounting, and cost controls.
•Advanced Excel skills and experience managing large datasets/reports and BI tools.
