Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and develop process packages to meet product specification requirements and program timelines.
  • •Characterize processes and thin films using appropriate techniques and present findings in relevant forums.
  • •Design and implement experiments, analyze data, and deliver process maturity improvements in the R&D Pilot Line/fab under your ownership.
  • •Support process integration by developing recipes that meet structural and electrical requirements and managing wafers through thin film levels.
  • •Conduct root-cause defect and unique fail-mode analysis to support failure analysis and yield improvement, including collaboration with multiple internal teams and equipment vendors/suppliers.

Key Requirements

  • •PhD in Physics, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field; or Bachelor/Masters in one of these areas with 5+ years of relevant CVD/Diffusion experience.
  • •Demonstrated understanding of Plasma-CVD or Thermal Diffusion deposition processing principles.
  • •Understanding of one or more topics: transport phenomena, electromagnetics, atomic/molecular physics, and surface phenomena.
  • •Solid troubleshooting, experimental build, and data analysis skills.
  • •Working knowledge of process control and Statistical Process Control (SPC), plus strong computer skills (MS Office) and ability to use advanced data analysis/scripting.
