Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform routine tasks such as grinding, select fit sizing, and/or assembly operations, including quality inspections using control plans, reaction charts, and SPC charts.
  • •Handle machine set-ups, basic troubleshooting, and return equipment to operational status by removing, replacing, or repairing worn or defective parts and aligning components.
  • •Confer with operations to observe and inspect machinery, diagnose root causes of malfunctions, and run diagnostics checks.
  • •Complete work orders accurately using the Roxboro Maintenance Work Order System and close out completed work orders.
  • •Support electrical/controls work by identifying electrical components, reading basic test equipment, applying LOTO procedures, and documenting EHS events as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
  • •Minimum 1 year of Controls / PLC experience.
  • •Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
  • •Preferred: degree in Mechatronics.
  • •Preferred: certificates in electrical work and/or experience with industrial PLCs; Auto CAD; heat treat/grinding; and precision equipment setup to the micron level.
