Key Responsibilities

  • •Escort adult, young, and child detainees safely to court and in custody in line with protocols.
  • •Attend briefings and follow routes and detainee details, completing required paperwork and checks.
  • •Carry out risk assessments and vehicle checks before and during duties.
  • •Support and engage young detainees while maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • •Liaise with court staff and manage a range of situations, including supporting vulnerable individuals, then return or hand over detainees.
