Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage complex civil litigation, arbitration, regulatory, administrative, and pre-litigation matters across company operations.
  • •Develop and execute litigation strategies aligned with legal, business, operational, and reputational objectives.
  • •Supervise and manage outside counsel, including selection, budgets, case strategy, and matter performance.
  • •Provide risk-based advice on litigation exposure, dispute avoidance, settlement strategy, and HSE/environmental and regulatory risk.
  • •Lead pre-litigation resolution and manage litigation holds, document preservation, e-discovery, and responses to subpoenas and government/regulatory inquiries.

Key Requirements

  • •Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • •Active license to practice law and good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • •Minimum 10 years of litigation experience across law firm, in-house legal, government, or a combination.
  • •Experience managing complex civil litigation, commercial disputes, regulatory matters, arbitration, administrative proceedings, investigations, or other high-stakes matters.
  • •Ability to develop litigation strategy, supervise outside counsel, assess risk, and advise senior legal and business stakeholders.
